Because every costume is made specifically for you, the first thing we do is put together the exact list of measurements needed for that particular piece, along with clear, simple instructions on how to take them — and send it straight to your email. It’s worth double-checking that the email you gave us is one you actually check: we use it for the real work of building your costume, never for spam.
If you run into any trouble measuring yourself, don’t worry — we’ll send additional photos or video instructions to help you get it right.
2. We confirm your timeline and every detail
If you’re working toward a specific event, let us know the date you need your costume by. We’ll agree on a plan to make sure it reaches you in time — and if for any reason that’s not realistic, we’ll tell you upfront, so you’re never left waiting to find out.
This is also where we lock in any customization you’ve asked for — a different color or material, an extra pocket, a six-fingered glove, an opening for an insulin pump tube, or anything else specific to you. We talk it through together before any of it goes into production.
3. Our patternmaker checks everything
Once we have your measurements, they don’t just get filed away — our patternmaker personally reviews them. If anything looks off or raises a question, we’ll reach out to confirm before moving forward. That extra check means small mistakes get caught early, long before any fabric is cut.
4. Production begins
Only once your measurements and every detail are confirmed does production actually start. Nothing is made until everything has been agreed and double-checked with you.
5. We keep you in the loop
How much you hear from us while your costume is being made is entirely up to you. If you love watching the process, just ask, and we’ll send progress photos or short videos as your costume comes together. If you’d rather we simply get on with it and surprise you at the end, that’s just as easy — we’ll only reach out if a decision genuinely needs your input.
6. Your order ships
Once your costume is complete, we pack it with care — choosing exactly what your piece needs to travel safely, whether that’s a sturdy box, a fabric garment bag, foam padding, bubble wrap, or a combination of these. That means your order arrives fully protected, without paying for or waiting on packaging your item never needed in the first place. You’ll get a tracking number and carrier link right away.
